Important information

A. Visas
You need visas to visit Kenya, and these can be issued on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport. The process is easy and fast, and all you need is a valid passport and the fee - US$50 payable only in cash US dollars.

B. Inoculations
Shots against Yellow Fever and cholera are recommended but not mandatory. And as a precaution we usually advise anti-malarial drugs to be taken before, during and after your visit to East Africa. 

C.Packing List
And finally, here is a suggested general packing list to help in your preparations:  

1. Duffel bags rather than suitcases (if possible)

2.  Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear 

   • Safari shorts/slacks/ T shirts/jeans/socks/underwear

   •  Hat and sun glasses

   • Thongs/Sandals/Sneakers

   • Sunscreen

   • Swimsuit

   • A small alarm clock

3. Toiletries & Medical Supplies

   • Toothpaste/Toothbrush

   • Hair care equipment (brushes/comb)

   • Insect repellant

   • Malaria medication

   • Medicine kit/Pain Killers

4. Photo Equipment

   • Camera with ziplock bags

   • Electrical transformers/plug adaptors for camera recharge

   • Lots of films

   • Binoculars
